What we count
The site counts one thing: how many times each page was opened each day. Nothing is kept about who opened it. The numbers themselves are here, in the open.

How we count
When a reader opens a page, the server that sends it adds one to that page's number for that day. Only the page's address and the date are kept.
Nothing is kept about the reader: no IP address, country, device, browser, referrer or time. Search engine crawlers, link previews and prefetches are not counted. Pages have no cookies, counters or third-party scripts.
Mirrors and the offline copy count nothing.
