Spring flood in Tyumen, Omsk and Kirov oblasts

In May 2017 spring floodwater inundated settlements in the Tyumen region, including the Ishim area, and parts of the Omsk and Kirov regions. On 16 May 2017 the working group of the Government Commission declared an emergency and set the federal level of response in the three regions.
