Black Sea off Sochi, Krasnodar Krai · 25 Dec 2016 · Transport accident

On 25 December 2016 a Defence Ministry Tu-154 flying to Syria crashed into the Black Sea shortly after taking off from Sochi (Adler) airport, where it had refuelled. According to MAK, 92 people died: 84 passengers and 8 crew.
